Robert Half is seeking a talented HR professional for an HR Manager position in the Hamilton, NJ area. This position is geared towards individuals who are comfortable in a stand-alone role and can oversee payroll and benefits activities. Experience with Paylocity is a must. On a regular basis you will handle the day-to-day HR activities. However, a candidate who can also be a strategic thinker and can find ways to improve the business through HR initiatives is the ideal fit.


Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate and recommend updates to company HR policies and oversee their implementation.
  • Manage payroll processes, including tracking employee timesheets and ensuring accurate payroll processing.
  • Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring compliance with benefits enrollment and related requirements.
  • Administer personnel policies, maintain and update the employee handbook, and align HR practices with company goals.
  • Collaborate with external consultants on benefits administration, communicate benefits information, and track employee leave and entitlements.
  • Address employee relations issues, including conducting investigations as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for employees, including advanced leadership training for senior management.
  • Design and implement professional development and compensation programs to support employee growth and align with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner, contributing to the company’s long-term growth by aligning HR initiatives with broader business goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and strong academic credentials required; Master’s Degree, relevant certifications, or academic background in human resources is a plus.
  • Strong references required.
  • Proficient in Paylocity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong HR Knowledge and can function without guidance.
  • Natural Problem-solver.
