Job Description
Robert Half HR Solutions is partnering with a client located near Commerce, GA to identify talent for a Contract HR Generalist to support a manufacturing site. The role is 100% onsite with the core hours of 8-5 pm and we do not anticipate overtime. The client is in the Wholesale Distribution industry, and you will play a crucial part in employee recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee relations for less than 50 employees whose roles include: customer service, inventory, logistics, supervisors/managers and the warehouse team. You will also be tasked with managing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, and maintaining safety in a non-union environment. You will serve as the onsite HR presence for this client.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the recruitment process and play a key role in selecting suitable candidates.
• Handle onboarding procedures for new employees.
• Foster positive employee relations and resolve any related issues.
• Implement and manage HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a safe and conducive working environment in the warehouse.
• Use ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR-related tasks.
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient HR operations.
• Implement Ceridian and Dayforce systems for workforce management.
• Manage benefit functions and effectively communicate them to employees.
• Handle FMLA requests and manage related procedures.
• Oversee the recruiting personnel to ensure efficient recruitment processes.
• Be adept at managing Benefit Functions
• Exhibit strong communication skills
• Show a keen understanding of compliance procedures
• Have a proven track record in managing Employee Relations
• Be familiar with and able to navigate FMLA regulations
• Have experience and proficiency in Onboarding new employees
• Display strong skills in Recruiting
• Have experience in managing and guiding Recruiting Personnel
