About the role:

CLA is seeking to hire an HR Director (Client Experience) to work remotely on our Talent Solutions team. This role is a key member of the Talent Solutions HR Consulting and Outsourcing team, providing leadership and oversight of the client experience teams and engagements and ensuring the effective execution and delivery of HR Consulting and Outsourcing services.

As an HR Director you will be responsible for:

  1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
    1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering long-term relationships and driving consistent client experience.
    2. Develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals, challenges, and culture to provide tailored HR solutions.
    3. Actively engage in client meetings and address client needs.
    4. Lead on contract renewals, negotiations, and extensions ensuring alignment of services with evolving client needs.
    5. Conduct regular check-ins with clients and CLA Client Relationship Leaders (CRLs) to assess satisfaction, capture feedback, and identify opportunities for additional support.
  2. Team Leadership and Service Delivery Oversight:
    1. Oversee the client experience team, establishing and holding accountability to deliver on best practice processes that ensure a high-quality standard of service for all HR Consulting and Outsourcing engagements.
    2. Adhere to service-level agreements, project timelines, budgets, and scope of work requirements.
    3. Drive operational efficiencies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across the client experience team.
    4. Identify and provide training and guidance to all team members.
    5. Assist in hiring, coaching, performance, and onboarding of team members.
    6. Create a unified team vision for client service and use data/metrics to support decision making.
    7. Provide support surrounding change management to help the team successfully adapt to the changing HR environment.
    8. Support family members Inspired Careers through providing training opportunities, career path clarity, and connection to behavioral competencies.
  3. Operational and Financial Management:
    1. Monitor realization, revenue, budgets, and forecasts to ensure that operational and financial goals are met.
    2. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support decision-making. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast project revenue.
    3. Own the billing process for your client engagements and collaborate with CLA Client Relationship Leaders (CRLs) to ensure that project work billings are accurate and up to date, ensuring that they are compliant with client contracts and CLA policies and procedures.
    4. Prepare and present regular reports on client experience, project statuses, and financial performance to the Director of HR Consulting and Outsourcing.
  4. Growth:
    1. Be a collaborative partner with the HR Directors responsible for seamless growth to create a cadence of client experiences that add value.
    2. Responsible for driving growth in existing client engagements.
  5. Quality and Risk Management:
    1. Understand firm policies and controls around independence and implement procedures to protect the firm and our clients.
    2. Identify sensitive issues and consult with firmwide service specialists as needed.

What you will need:

  1. 10 years of relevant experience is required.
  2. Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Degrees in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field preferred. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  3. A minimum of one of the following HR certifications is required or the ability to obtain within 180 days of hire: SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  4. Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products. Experience with HRIS systems such as ADP Run, ADP Workforce Now, Gusto, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and Rippling is preferred.
