Senior HR Generalist Job at Robert Half in Acton

We are in the process of hiring a Senior HR Generalist for our team located in Lancaster, California. This role is primarily focused on leading the HR operations, strategy, and talent development in our hospitals and healthcare sector. This position presents a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.

• Handle daily HR operations, including performance management and employee relations.

• Spearhead recruitment initiatives to ensure the selection of superior candidates via effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

• Enhance employee engagement and manage workplace issues to maintain a motivated workforce.

• Update and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures in accordance with CA laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with external partners for benefits administration and manage the organization's compensation structure.

• Utilize tools such as HRAs, LAWSON HR11, Microsoft suite to improve HR processes and data management.

• Implement training and development programs to facilitate career growth and skills enhancement.

• Provide strategic insights to the executive team on HR matters, contributing to organizational growth.

• Guide and lead the HR team, promoting their detail-oriented development and growth.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within a HR setting

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong knowledge of HR compliance laws and regulations

• Proven experience in managing Employee Relations

• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations
