We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Business Partner in Seattle, Washington. In this hybrid role (on-site primary), you will be tasked with building strong HR strategies and initiatives for our client groups, partnering with senior leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, and contributing to our talent management lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

• Guide the development of people strategies that support client business success.

• Provide strategic business advice to senior leaders on a variety of organizational matters.

• Collaborate with other HRBPs to ensure alignment of strategies and approaches.

• Execute on a lifecycle approach to talent management, including forecasting, staffing, onboarding, compensation, development, performance management, and retention.

• Coach business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, including employee communication, development, and performance management strategies.

• Contribute to organizational design activities to streamline new structures, roles, or processes.

• Provide expertise, consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers to address employee behavior and performance concerns.

• Conduct employee relations investigations, gathering and analyzing facts, applying relevant laws, policies, and past practices.

• Partner with the HRBP and DEI teams in executing DEI plans.

• Contribute to expanding the workforce diversity of assigned client groups and building inclusive leadership practices within those groups.

• Proven experience in Core HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, payroll, and performance management
• Proficient in managing Benefit Functions such as medical insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs
• Ability to partner effectively with Business Units to understand their needs and deliver suitable HR solutions
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective dialogue with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong understanding of HR Compliance laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant
• Prior experience in Employee Relations, including managing grievances, disciplinary procedures, and promoting employee well-being
• Proficiency in using Workday HRIS for maintaining employee records, generating reports, and other HR-related tasks
