We are looking to hire a talented HR Business Partner to support our Human Resources team at Xsolla. The chosen candidate will work within a tightly-knit global HR team, play an integral role within our Sherman Oaks HQ office and work closely alongside the VP of People & Culture. The main responsibilities for this role will include onboarding, off-boarding, conflict management, maintaining employee personnel files, immigration support, updating and/or creating HR documents, employee documentation, coordinating company events and other ad hoc projects. It is vital that the selected candidate is organized, diligent, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for pre-employment communication, onboarding, and continued support for new hires
  • Manage employee records both physical and electronic, updating as necessary and in accordance with federal and state laws
  • Handle department billing and invoices
  • Assist with the company’s semi-monthly payroll cycle
  • Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
  • Maintain, schedule, and coordinate calendar activities
  • Support the talent acquisition team with reference checks or background checks as needed
  • Plan large and small events such as speaker series, holiday parties, remote care packages, and others as needed
  • Responsible for coordinating all office operations and procedures - championing organizational efficiency throughout the region
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between regional offices and Headquarters; including but not limited to special events, business technologies, and talent acquisition
  • Work with the VP of People & Culture daily to ensure HR tasks are completed for the local office as well as on a global scale
  • Assist with immigration paperwork and visa process for employees relocating to the United States
  • Manage documentation as well as internal and external discussions for employee immigration cases
  • Review and summarize HR contracts for the company and its employees
  • Support internship program per department requests
  • Develop and implement learning opportunities for employees such as manager trainings, guest speakers, and tailored training courses
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years in a human resources support role in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service acumen with an inquisitive mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing, and time-management skills
  • Able to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable with screening applicants
  • Able to work independently or within a team environment
  • Can prioritize assignments and meet tight deadlines and multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Has a forward-thinking mindset and takes initiative to anticipate the needs of department/team
  • Data-driven mindset
  • Experienced in various HRIS tools (we use Bob) and familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS) (we use Lever)
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc.) as well as other office tools such as Jira, Confluence, Concur (a plus)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

COMPENSATION

$80,000 - $95,000 a year
Actual comp within the range adjusted for individual experience and location.
