Job Description
JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager, HR, the HR Coordinator key roles are to run an organization’s human resources department. Responsible for hiring staff, developing HR policies, managing employee benefits, and generally ensuring all company information is legally compliant, comfortable with computer systems and be able to find relevant business information quickly. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly. This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR executives.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies.)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruiting, training, grievances, and performances evaluations.)
- Coordinate HR projects (meeting, training, and survey) and take minutes notes.
- Deal with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, and leave.)
- Communicate with public services when necessary.
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
- Assist our recruiters to sources candidates and update our database.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- May include other duties as assigned and/or special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience as a Payroll Generalist or in another administrative HR role.
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular.)
- Familiarity with ADP software and resume database, preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communications skills.
