About the Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified HR Director to join our team at the Shoshone Bannock Casino Hotel. As the HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and training. Responsible for the successful overall coordination, administration, and direction of all Human resources and Training activities on the property, in accordance with all Mission and Objectives of Shoshon=ne Bannock Casino Hotel, company policies and procedures, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and all Applicable Federal and State laws governing employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area from a four-year college of university with
  • 7+ years of experience Successful supervisory and management experience and knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high professionalism and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources Development
  • With ten (10) years of PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Experience with talent management and succession planning.
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Skills:

As the HR Director, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage employee relations and work collaboratively with other departments. You will also need strong leadership skills to lead and motivate your team to achieve organizational goals. In addition, you will need to have a deep understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, and be able to apply them in a practical and effective manner. Finally, you will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
