Title: HR Generalist

Location: Kannapolis, NC

Job Summary:

The Prime Beverage Group is looking for an experienced HR Generalist that can thrive in fast paced environment and ensure all HR initiatives align with the company’s overall business needs. The ideal candidate will have a blend of people skills, a deep understanding of HR regulations, and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals. They should demonstrate adaptability, leadership, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. In addition, this candidate will lead with a “team” first approach and foster collaboration, and communication.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for the full-life cycle of an employee.
  • Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment process.
  • Primary point of contact to managers, supervisors and employees regarding general human resources related questions/issues and providing accurate and appropriate information or guidance.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations from start to finish and provide support to managers on other employee-related queries.
  • Partner with Manager, HR on consulting department leaders on broad range of human resource issues including talent planning, career mobility, retention, engagement, performance management and other related areas focused on developing a high-performing team.
  • Partner with managers and leaders on training development programs.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, onboarding assistance, and employee relations.
  • Enforce company policies and practices.
  • The HR Generalist will build strong relationships with teams, managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide expertise and one-on-one employee support in the following areas: performance management, employee relations, management coaching, compensation, learning and development and organizational development.
  • Create new manager onboarding training program.
  • Create a culture where everyone works as a team, communicates, and treats each other with respect.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, innovative technologies in human resources, and familiarity with employment law.
  • Consult, coach, and influence leaders on people related topics.
  • Runs reports and analyzes data to find solutions on HR related topics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have integrity, tact, and discretion as well as excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Team-player with ability to operate in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Must have at least 3 years of HR experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications
    Experience working with benefits, and workers compensation a plus.
  • Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance.
  • Understanding of HRIS systems, specifically ADP.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • SHRM CP or SCP

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift ten pounds at times.
