Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job announcements, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork and conducting one on-one on-boarding meetings, as well as organizing the new hire lunch
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job histories, and collaborations
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and answering questions related to benefit plans
- Reconcile billing benefits and ensure proper and timely payment
- Assist with payroll processing by providing necessary employee information and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
- Support HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction, including recognition programs
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee training programs
- Assist with the wellness program initiative
Associated Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Must be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Must demonstrate innovation, a solution-oriented mindset, resourcefulness, and proactivity, along with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent customer services and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to promote/maintain a cooperative work environment
- The ability to handle multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate records is crucial
Minimum Requirement (A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying):
- 1 to 2 years of Human Resource experience
- Knowledge of HRIS systems
- Familiarity with HR laws, regulations, and best practices in areas such as hiring, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
