Job Summary

Are you interested in making a difference in health care? Are you passionate

about human resources? As a member of LACENTA’s human resources team, the HR Clerk will

get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on HR systems, recruitment, and

policies/procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring the HR department runs smoothly,

contributing to employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to organizational

policies. Additionally, you will provide vital administrative support to the HR team.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full cycle recruitment process for entry level positions.
  • Assist with onboarding items (ensuring our new hires have name badges, uniforms, etc)
  • Prepare, process, and review a variety of documents, including applicants / employee files.
  • Responsible for Covid-19 contact tracing and tracking and sending email notifications.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with those contacted during the course of work operations.
  • Serve as a liaison for college and school networks as well as extern students.
  • Address common inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring procedures; direct complex queries to senior HR personnel.
  • Assist in fostering employee engagement by organizing activities that promote diversity, inclusion, and equity (employee engagement).
  • Perform additional tasks as delegated.
Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability

required.

  • 4 year degree preferred, but not required
  • 1 - 2 Years HR Clerical experience preferred
  • Experience with HRIS (Paylocity) preferred and Microsoft Office applications required
  • 1 - 2 years recruitment or Application screening experience required
  • Sounds knowledge of labor regulations preferred


Physical Demands

to:

  • Sit for long periods at a time.
  • Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs. periodically.
  • Travel to clinic locations or sites as needed.

  • Employees must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, and may be required to lift office equipment.
