Part-Time Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Human Resources Generalist. This position will provide valuable support to our HR department referred to as People and Culture, assisting with a variety of tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist with posting job advertisements on various platforms
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews
    • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts
    • Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding procedures
  • Employee Relations:
    • Respond to employee inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
    • Assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred  
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Positive attitude and a team-player mentality
  • Non-Profit work experience is preferred
Note: This is a part-time position, and the specific hours and days of work may vary.
Compensation Offered: $30 per hour
