We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the service industry, located in Seattle, Washington. As a Human Resources (HR) Assistant, you will be tasked with a variety of administrative and clerical duties. These will involve maintaining accurate records, processing employee-related documents, and delivering top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately entering and managing data in an HRIS
• Providing administrative support and performing various clerical tasks
• Assisting with onboarding processes, including ATS and employee documentation
• Handling new permanent paperwork as well as interim employee forms
• Assisting with FMLA paperwork, if possible
• Professionally interacting with employees and providing excellent customer service
• Creating or filing letters of discipline or termination
• Monitoring the general inbox and responding to inquiries promptly
• Ensuring proficiency in Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Auditing, Background Checks, Benefit Functions
• Demonstrating excellent phone skills and professionalism over the phone
• Ensuring familiarity with HRIS and correctly entering data, completing processes related to employment.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Skilled in using Ceridian
• Ability to navigate HRMS
• Knowledge of About Time software
• Auditing skills
• Experience conducting Background Checks
• Understanding of Benefit Functions
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with Oracle JDeveloper
