JOB SUMMARY
Human Resource Generalist supports critical human resource functions. This position is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, attendance, personnel files and compliance of firm’s policies and practices. The ideal candidate must coordinate with HR support staff to process and maintain employment data, attendance, scheduling, and employee related records in a fast-paced environment while providing quality service under the supervision of management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Two-year experience in Human Resource Management
- Knowledge of HR Law and Regulations
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Excellent Organizational and Project Management Skills
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask in high volume setting while maintaining efficiency
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Travel Required
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
- Collaborate with department managers to evaluate KSA required for open positions
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboard employee
- Support HR functions to include recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, attendance, personnel files and compliance of firm’s policies and practices
- Support employment-related inquiries from employees, supervisors, lenders, and government agencies for complex and/or time-sensitive matters
- Support employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommended best practices, and review policy and procedure
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Performs other related duties as necessary
