JOB SMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist role includes supporting the organization, coordination, and implementation of Human Resources programs. Developing and implementing talent strategies that prioritize human-centered approaches, aligning these strategies with company goals while considering the diverse needs and aspirations of our workforce. (HR) department, including recruiting and interviewing, team member retention, and enforcing company policies and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with operations team to identify and understand workforce needs; evaluate and identify areas within the current sourcing model to achieve efficiency and productivity. Provide regular reports to management related to recruitment and staffing data.
  • Manages the full cycle recruitment efforts, posting job boards, sourcing, interviewing, screening, and presenting potential candidates to hiring managers; following up with candidates and hiring managers; salary negotiations; employment and reference checking; and various other recruiting activities.
  • Build relationships with local colleges, high schools, and professional/community organizations to create talent pipelines and referral sources.
  • Be a master at building relationships and nurturing team members through the on boarding process; conducts new team member orientation; oversees new hire paperwork; onboarding experiences that excite and engage new hires from day one, setting them up for success and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Supports the Human Resource Business Partners in overseeing the company rewards and recognition programs to enhance team member morale, promote engagement and maintain a positive employee culture.
  • Monitor retention and turnover to proactively manage location headcounts; partner with Human Resources Partner to understand team member feedback and exit interview feedback and implementation of related initiatives.
  • Provides policy interpretation and ensures accurate and consistent application of all company policies and procedures, and related local, state, and federal laws.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Exhibit efficiency in completing job requirements through working with a sense of urgency, consolidating tasks, and execution.

    REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 years’ experience in progressively responsible recruitment and staffing resource roles. Relevant experience in a recruiting or staffing role; experience working with a large group of non-exempt employees preferred.
  • Experience working in, hospitality, restaurant, or food service environment highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment law.
  • Candidate must have strong people skills and be able to interact effectively with business leaders, and be highly organized, action oriented, and collaborative.
  • Must also have proficiency in all areas of EEO/Title VII compliance including expertise in investigating and formally responding to Title VII charges: experience with Affirmative Action compliance highly desirable.
  • Must have excellent computer and database application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
