Position Summary:
The HR Manager will play a critical role in managing all aspects of human resources, with a particular emphasis on recruiting top talent, helping develop employees, and ensuring positive employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and HR compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
· Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Design and manage competitive salary structures, benefit programs, and incentives to attract and retain top talent
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
· Employee Relations:
- Develop and implement employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace environment, enhance job satisfaction, and build a strong organizational culture.
- Help create employee development plans and career progression paths to provide employees the opportunity for career growth and development.
- Lead the management of employee onboarding to ensure a great employee experience and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in their role.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Conduct data analysis of workforce/company trends to help improve employee retention, performance, and other HR metrics.
· HR Policy & Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support managers in the performance review process, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Enhance and optimize our ADP software to better meet the needs of our growing organization.
- Advise management on HR policies and best practices to maintain compliance with labor laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and employee engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS system, particularly ADP
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
