HR PAYROLL & BENEFITS COORDINATOR SUMMARY:

Coordinates human resources activities across multiple manufacturing facilities including but not limited to payroll, garnishments, benefits, workers compensation and leave administration. This position will have an emphasis on supporting local employment processes and employee relations, will lead by example and assist in driving the ACO core values.

HR PAYROLL & BENEFITS COORDINATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration of comprehensive companywide payroll (ADP WFN) and wage garnishments.
  • Administration of companywide benefits, workers compensation and leave management.
  • Administration of unemployment claims.
  • Assists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs.
  • Handles employment leave processes, Workers Compensation and Family Medical Leave.
  • Must maintain employment documentation controls having a high level of confidentiality when it comes to identity, medical, and wage information.
  • Assists with return to work and other accommodation processes.
  • Assist with administration of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
  • Supports hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks, negotiating salary offers and issuing job confirmation letters and other internal communication.
  • Coordinates and/or conducts employee engagement and relations activities and programs including but not limited to supporting employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, company events and employee recognition programs.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the organization’s processes, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Identifies potential employee-relations issues and reports concerns to HR generalist and HR manager.
  • Looks into grievance reports and supports HR Generalist and HR Manager in claims of harassment or other company policy violations.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

HR PAYROLL & BENEFITS COORDINATOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Occasionally required to stand or walk.
  • Continually required to sit and work on a computer.
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Occasionally required to drive.
  • Must be able to travel. (less than 10%)
