Successful cashiers must maintain accurate billing records through meticulous front desk processes and meet with customers at the sales counter when needed. Responsibilities:

• Help with general office and clerical tasks such as office supply management, tidying desks and cashier windows, and interfacing between customers and dealership employees
• Assume responsibility for cash register and cash control to ensure that all amounts are correct
• Offer answers to questions about specific costs, fees, and receipt values for customers
• Escalate any customer complaints quickly to the service advisor, greet customers with a smile, and maintain a professional appearance
• Answer questions about costs and services, print receipts, and issue refunds for customers, as needed

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people is essential
• Clerical, basic computer skills and cash register skills are necessary
• Fundamental math skills are necessary to successfully calculate payments and fees, reconcile outstanding billing, and issue refunds
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
