Janitor Job at Fidelis Holdings LLC in Syracuse

Frazer and Jones are looking to add a 1st shift janitor to our maintenance team. This role provides essential environmental services to the entire plant. Working independently, the janitor performs routine daily tasks to support the business.

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs routine housekeeping duties on a daily basis such as but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, offices, shower rooms, locker rooms and assigned areas.
• Operates waxing and polishing equipment, may infrequently operate a power industrial truck / fork truck to remove debris or carry refuse, and utilizes standard tools such as brooms.
• Maintains and replenishes stock items for restrooms, kitchens, locker rooms and offices, to include bathroom tissue, soap, paper towels and other items.
• Completes daily assignment sheets and records areas cleaned.
• May be assigned to tasks such as washing windows, removing trash from offices or yardwork.
• May be required to lift to 25-pounds without assistance such as when emptying trash cans.
• Other duties as assigned by the foreman / departmental supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED and/or ability to understand and communicate with fundamental English.
• This position does not require previous experience.

Work Schedule and Hours:

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits:

• $15.41 - $16.56 per hour.
• Overtime after 8 hours in a day and after 40 hours in a week.
