Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high level of hygiene.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and reporting any damages or repairs required.
  • Ensure all areas are secured after cleaning and report any unauthorized individuals or suspicious activities.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
  • Collaborate with other team members to maintain a cohesive and well-organized work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
  • Ability to handle basic maintenance tasks.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to them at all times.
