San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) is a public hospital and clinic system that includes an extensive primary care network, an acute care hospital, medical and surgical sub-specialty services, dental services, and long-term care.

As part of San Mateo County Health, the medical center serves the healthcare needs of all residents of San Mateo County, with an emphasis on education and prevention.
This part-time position will work with the dental team to cover outpatient clinics and Call for SMMC. They will work closely with our Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery departments in managing complex maxillofacial injuries and infections.
Preference is given to candidates who manifest flexibility and a strong work ethic. SMMC offers competitive compensation packages that are customized to fit the need of the individual physician.
Job type:
Contract, Part-time, 3-4 clinic days a month
One week/month of call coverage (no trauma call)
Minimum Requirements:
- DDS/DMD and DO/MD or MBBS Qualifications
- Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License
- Eligibility and/or Certification by the American Board of Oral Surgery or its equivalent
