Job Description: Part-time Custodian 

Position: Part-time Custodian
Location: Orlando, FL.
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Pay: $15

Shift: 

1st Shift 11 am – 3 pm Saturday – Sunday

3rd Shift 11 pm – 4 am Saturday - Sunday

We have a differential pay shift of $1.25 for the 3rd shift.

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Custodians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Duties

• Perform commercial and industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repairs.
• Assist with custodial duties related to special events or functions as needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or necessary repairs to management.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
• Provide porter services by transporting materials or equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• A basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks is beneficial.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to custodial work.
