Schochet is currently seeking a Part Time Porter at Danforth Heights. 

Danforth Heights is a 166 family apartment community located in downtown Portland, ME.

Duties include but not limited to;

 

1.       Complete the final cleaning of an apartment during the unit turn-over process.  After property maintenance staff completes renovations on an apartment, the janitorial staff goes into the unit and prepares the unit for the new resident.

2.       Trash room maintenance and property trash removal.   Duties in this area may include:  cleaning of trash rooms; cleaning of trash shoots; preparing trash containers for pick-up by trash company; picking up trash around exterior of property and removing trash from hallways and other parts of the building where items may have been left. 

3.       Delivery notices to each unit as requested by property management.

4.       Light maintenance such as painting, and patching.

5.       Cleaning the leaves off the drain and exterior stairs.

6.       Assist maintenance and/or property management staff by providing outside vendors with access to apartment units.

7.       Walk the property daily collecting trash and replacing burned out light bulbs as needed.
