Job Description
Responsibilities:
Complete Xero and Hubdoc certification prior to 90 days review.
Greet clients in store or via phone service.
Interview clients to gain a full picture of their financial situation.
Reviews financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.
Researches tax related questions and issues, and responds to clients appropriately and within a timely manner.
Resolves client complaints, or refers situations to supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution
Audits all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness (i.e., client signatures).
Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Accomplishes completion of quarterly reports by established deadlines.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

Meet and review financial business progress with all business clients
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Familiarity with tax calculations and reporting requirements
- Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts related to payroll
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information

-Maintain accounts updated on frequent payroll tax law changes on local, state, and federal levels
Required:
Complete Bookkeeping certification within 30 days
Prior Payroll experience of up to 2 years
High School Diploma. RECOMMENDED: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Proficient use of Microsoft programs
Exceptional Customer Service
Confidentiality Agreement
WPM 50+
Proficient use of a computer including troubleshooting
Able to work Tues - Sat 10 am - 5 pm EST Off Tax Season
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Fast learner, able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
