Aretum, a premier government contracting company focused on technology-enabled mission support services, is looking for a motivated and organized Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Executive Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our executive office, providing high-level administrative support to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day business activities of the CEO and other company executives, as assigned
  • Prioritize and handle internal and external correspondence
  • Maintain daily and long-term calendar
  • Coordinate meetings and materials preparation
  • Create and update Powerpoint slide decks, Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
  • Make travel arrangements, as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive filing system
  • Work with office manager to handle all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Organize the calendars of the CEO
  • Take notes during CEO meetings and conference calls; identify, keep track of, and follow up on action items
  • Demonstrate the ability to interface with other business partners and teams within the company
  • Demonstrate the ability to schedule meetings, organize conferences and talks, and plan events

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience working as an Admin/Executive Assistant
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently (take initiative and personal ownership over work activities) and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

Nice to Have:

  • General knowledge of federal contracting business operations
