Chambliss, LLLP., a Lauderdale By The Sea, FL based Company and leader in the petroleum industry, seeks an energetic and well skilled professional for the position of Executive Assistant.

This role is crucial to the office’s daily functions. Excelling in this position will require fast learning, a strong ability to problem solve in different circumstances, and a keen ability to track information and improve current processes.

As Executive Assistant your primary responsibility is to manage all functions of office operations including but not limited to personnel, payroll, human resources, banking, accounts payable, insurance administration, workers comp and general liability claims, and accounting department coordination.

You will also spearhead functions such as:

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive level including, but not limited to, company meeting set-up, schedule, agenda, corporate letter writing and coordinating travel arrangements

  • Provide both external and internal customers with information and assistance when required by phone and e-mail

  • Compile information as needed

  • Mine historical data for use in the attainment of new business

  • Analyze processes and implement corrective action

  • Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; prepare special reports

  • Guide other departments by researching and interpreting policy; apply observations and recommendations on operational issues

  • Maintain financial security by establishing and recommending internal controls

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to learn new systems

  • Bookkeeping knowledge and experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power Point)

  • A minimum of 4 years work related skill, knowledge, or experience.
