Ascend Elements is revolutionizing the production of lithium-ion battery materials by establishing a clean and sustainable supply chain using recycled feedstock. Ascend Elements is taking the lithium-ion battery industry to a higher level.

We are hiring an Executive Assistant who will be responsible for administrative tasks supporting the President and Board Executive in our Covington, Georgia facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day administration and coordination of all areas of executive support.
  • Proactively manage calendars with the ability to schedule and prioritize meetings, resolve schedule conflicts, collaborate with other team members, and stay several steps ahead to maintain efficiency.
  • Schedule and coordinate numerous weekly and ad hoc meetings, ensuring that all details are managed and communicated effectively with all parties.
  • Handle all aspects of travel arrangements, both international and domestic, with the ability to make frequent revisions as necessary.
  • Manage business expenses for executives, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for in-office events and meetings, creating documents, arranging catering and providing onsite support as needed.
  • Act as a point person for visiting employees, vendors and clients as needed.
  • Maintain central filing systems and general mailboxes.
  • Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings. Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in an administrative role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment, effectively multitasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
