Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? Koko By Bakan is expanding, and we're seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen team at our brand new location!

Location and Training:
Our new restaurant will be situated in the vibrant city of Aventura, Florida. However, initial training will take place at our established location in Coconut Grove until the new restaurant opens. This is an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with our operations and culinary standards before taking on your role at the new location.

What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with leadership experience
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) to effectively communicate with our diverse team
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience with Mexican cuisine is a significant plus
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and train kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences

Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Managing and training kitchen staff
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety
- Creating and updating menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
- Fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment
