Waste Manager Job at Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. in Atlanta

Perma-Fix is currently accepting resumes for hazardous/radioactive waste shipping specialists to support upcoming project throughout the U.S..

Duties:

· Develop plans and procedures for waste management activities

· Prepare waste profiles, shipping documentation, and other shipment records.

· Maintain waste inventory spreadsheets and databases.

· Oversee waste sampling and characterization.

· Oversee container and conveyance loading.

· Perform QC inspections on shipping containers.

· Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Compensation:

· College degree from an accredited school in engineering, construction management, health physics, geology, chemistry, or a related field or 10 years of experience performing waste management activities associated with coordinating packaging, transport and disposal of Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW), Mixed Waste (MW)

· Current 49 CFR Advanced Mixed Waste Shipper Certification, RCRA Generator Training

· Current 40-Hr HAZWOPER
