We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in San Jose, California. This role is mainly positioned in the finance and accounting department, where you will be expected to bring your expertise in Accounts Payable and General Accounting to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations.
• Handle data entry tasks, maintaining precision in all work.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks, demonstrating proficiency in the software.
• Understand and apply knowledge of debits and credits in daily tasks.
• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring their accuracy at all times.
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.• Proficiency in General Accounting is required
• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Understanding and experience with Debit Credit transactions
• Data Entry skills are necessary
