We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Manager in NEW YORK, New York. The role involves overseeing our accounting department's functions, maintaining precise records, and ensuring smooth financial operations in our company.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and conduct the processing of payroll details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain updated records.
• Carry out financial computations, including due amounts, equity, balance, discounts, and interest charges.
• Handle the preparation and issuance of financial statements such as bills, account statements, invoices, and others.
• Undertake the reconciliation of bank transaction records to ensure correctness.
• Ensure the correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes in figures, postings, and documents.
• Handle the receipt, recording, and banking of cash, checks, and vouchers.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure they are up to date.
• Oversee the preparation of purchase orders and expense reports.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Mastery in Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in conducting Auditing
• Capability in managing Billing Functions
• Knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experience in Construction Projects - Accounting
• Proficiency in Project Billing
