Robert Half Full-Time Contract Talent is HIRING!!! We are looking for some dynamic individuals to add to our teams across Des Moines!

As a Sage X3 Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our accounting processes using Sage X3. You will contribute to the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our financial operations, supporting our mission to achieve financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Sage X3 Management:
  • Administer, configure, and maintain Sage X3 accounting software.
  • Oversee and enhance the day-to-day operations of Sage X3.
  • Resolve any Sage X3-related issues and provide support to end-users.

Financial Data Management:

  • Manage and reconcile financial data in Sage X3, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and analyze financial reports and statements using Sage X3.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Training and Support:

  • Train and provide ongoing support to finance team members in the use of Sage X3.
  • Act as a resource for addressing Sage X3-related queries and challenges.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and consulting, preferably in a consulting firm or financial services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using tools like Excel and financial software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
