We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in MONTEBELLO, California. This role is central to the operations of our finance department, where you will aid Accountants and other financial personnel in creating and editing financial documents, managing the company's bookkeeping processes, and tracking expenses against financial budgets. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process data entry tasks and manage both physical and electronic filing systems
• Assist in the creation and modification of financial documents
• Systematize the company's bookkeeping processes to ensure efficiency
• Scrutinize financial budgets and monitor expenses to maintain financial health
• Draft and report financial presentations to provide clear and concise financial information
• Reconcile financial books, ensuring all incoming and outgoing funds are accurately recorded
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems such as ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient execution of accounting functions
• Management of accounts payable and receivable to ensure smooth financial operations
• Conduct auditing tasks and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with CaseWare is essential.
• Experience with Concur is expected.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial.
• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions effectively.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is needed.
• Competency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Proficiency in Auditing is a must.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is mandatory.
