Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Onsite (Monday - Friday)
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as an individual contributor at one of our Florida Brands. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong proficiency in Sage Accounting Software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage day-to-day accounting functions while performing essential office duties. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing monthly reports for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), as well as overseeing various office administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including AR and AP.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports for AR and AP.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Process invoices, payments, and ensure that accounts are reconciled regularly.
- Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
- Perform office duties, such as filing, answering phones, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial and business goals.
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and other financial documents.
- Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation for internal controls.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on general accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Sage Accounting Software or similar accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AR, AP, and month-end close processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Onsite position, Monday through Friday.
- Standard office hours.
