Sunshine Cleaning Systems/Pritchard Industries, a National Facilities Service Company, is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk located in Fort Lauderdale, FL . You are primarily responsible for providing accounting support and performing accounting and clerical functions for our AP & AR department and payroll. You should have the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth operations. You will undertake a variety of activities in accounting ranging from invoicing, filing, reconciliation, purchasing, and accounts payable. You must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills. The ideal candidate will be familiar with office equipment and accounting procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous knowledge of accounting aspects, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger, and payroll.
  • Ability to invoice monthly & weekly invoices and work orders as needed.
  • Assist with collection of past due invoices by knowing and building relationships with customer vis phone, email or personally.
  • Able to process work order data while carefully reviewing and processing at an efficient rate with minimal data entry errors.
  • Prepare deposits for payments and processing.
  • Prepare invoices for payments and processing.
  • Must be able to maintain the normal standard of ethics, conduct and organization policies in job related activities.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Assist with timekeeping and payroll functions
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands, and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
  • Billing -Filling -Purchase Orders
  • Keep Track of Checklists –Scheduling Invoicing –Accruals -Monthly Closing Report
  • Completes all other duties and service requests as assigned by Accounting Manager

  • Must be strong in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Data Entry.
  • Experience in processing AP/AR and payroll.
  • Must have a good personality, eager to learn, committed to providing results, TEAM PLAYER.
