Volvo Cars of Naples is hiring experienced automotive accounting staff
The Automotive Accounting staff at Volvo Cars of Naples is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and accounting for various aspects within out dealership. This individual will work closely with our current accounting team as well as other departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
We will consider various levels of accounting experience to fill potential roles from Introductory Position to Office Manager Positions. Compensation commensurate with experience and position

Responsibilities:
- Assist in process vehicle sales transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Review contracts and other financial documents for accuracy and funding
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations
- Reconcile all financial records and report any discrepancies to management
- Maintain organized and accurate files and records
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Balancing daily deposit
- Contacting receivable customers for past due payments
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable
- Coding and posting payable invoices
- Reconciling statements monthly
- Other duties assigned as needed
Prior Payroll / HR experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the auto industry
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of state and federal laws related to billing and collections preferred
- Prior experience with Reynolds and Reynolds Ignite a HUGE plus.
