Job Description
Responsibilities:
Maintain our balance sheet and monthly journal entries
Prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports
Process bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings and compliance
Manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycles
Track fixed assets and calculate depreciation in our accounting system
Review and approve business expenses and corporate credit card charges
Complete ad hoc accounting projects and analyses
Requirements
Requirements:
(Required) Have 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
(Required) Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Have proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
Have experience of working in fast-paced startup environments
Are comfortable handling ambiguity and working with minimal supervision
Take the initiative to take your knowledge of processes and systems and recommend well-considered improvements
Know how to implement a change and are good at predicting what the effects of it will be; you know how to "get it right" the first time
