Accounting Manager Position Overview:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting and overseeing the finance and accounting functions at Outworx. This position interacts on a daily basis with other leaders, managers, and colleagues of the various businesses and functional areas. This role also interfaces with the independent external auditors and tax advisors, provides analyses for all departments, fairly represents the financial condition and results of operations of the company, develops controls necessary for the proper conduct of the business, and maintains accurate accounting records.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, chart of accounts, and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including overseeing invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Cash Management: Manage cash flow, monitor banking activities, and optimize the use of surplus funds.
- Supervision: Lead and manage the accounting and finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the organization's growth and objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA Preferred.
- Experience: Relevant experience in accounting and finance. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, such as ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey financial information to non-finance professionals and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are essential in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information and transactions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and requirements.
