This position will oversee all accounting functions of a partner company that specializes in vehicle upfitting and ambulance sales. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading a team that handles all general ledger activity and payroll. This position is based out of our corporate office located in Marlton, NJ. What will you be doing? This position will be a key member of the Accounting team. Duties include: Performing and supervising the monthly reconciliation of books and account reviews and assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Managing and administering A/R with the assistance of the Accounting Clerk and ensuring that accounts receivable are collected promptly. Managing and administering A/P with the assistance of the Accounting Clerk and ensuring that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner. Managing all bank accounts and ledgers: Daily Deposits, Transfers, Checks, Wires, and Reconciliations. Maintain and oversee, in conjunction with the leadership team, the ERP system and related processes and systems. Oversee the processing of payroll for the company using a payroll service. Day-to-day supervision of accounting staff and accounting functional areas including A/P, A/R, Purchasing, Cash Management, and financial reconciliations, including PTO approvals, workload assessment and performance feedback. What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful? This position will require the following skillsets and experience: At least five years of progressive financial responsibility in a manufacturing environment A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, or a related field. Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a team and individually. Proficient in the use of ERP systems solutions. Experience in the use of NetSuite would be a plus. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles. Strong internal communication skills, both written and oral. This includes the ability to work with all levels of the organization (Service, sales, finance and operations). Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues. Troubleshooting is a required skill; responsibility for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
