Accounting Manager Job at Century Group in Van Nuys

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $125,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Manage month end close
• Prepares financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
• Reviews, analyzes, and interprets all financial and budget reports
• Manage payroll
• Supervise the Accounts Payable function
• Support the Assistant Controller with tax preparation and tax review activities

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP
• Extensive ERP system knowledge: SAP is preferred
• Experience with SOX requirements
• CPA certification preferred (must be US)

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 5 years' hands-on accounting managerial experience
