Salary:

Position Summary:

As the Accounting Manager for duPont REGISTRY Exchange, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO), you'll work with the operations teams of the various entities to ensure accurate and timely recording and communication of financial information. You will also work with a cross-functional accounting and finance team to support the other areas of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Treasury Management:

    • Assist CFO/CAO with oversight of treasury function;
    • Supervise full-cycle accounts payable, including review/approval of disbursements;
    • Prepare/Review working capital reports, inclusive of cash flow forecasts;
    • Manage relationship with bank representatives to address/resolve any treasury related matters;
    • Coordinate with non-US accounting team to resolve any global treasury related matters

Team Management

    • Provide guidance, oversight, and training to team members
    • Team consists of several staff/senior accountants both in Miami and through an offshoring firm

Payroll Administration:

    • Responsible for preparing sales commissions for certain entities and providing other information to HR and the CFO for payroll processing
    • Coordinate with HR Department on payroll related matters

Financial Reporting and SOX:

    • Responsible for overseeing daily accounting function and monthly close process;
    • Review close workpapers and prepare reconciliations for certain areas
    • Ensure accurate reconciliation for revenue, cost of sales, inventory
    • Improve automation of monthly close tasks and improvement of documentation around procedures
    • Maintain and update monthly close checklists for all Vehicle related entities
    • Manage external auditor relationship to ensure timely completion of quarterly review and/or annual audit;
    • Assist CFO/CAO with ERP (NetSuite) maintenance and implementation projects;
    • Assist with migration from NetSuite to MS Dynamics 365 BC
    • Collaborate with management and/or FP&A to develop/update budgets as needed
    • Design and implement new processes for new business lines as neededTax and Compliance
      • Coordinate with tax team to ensure timely filing of all required federal/state/municipal income tax filings;
      • Responsible for all other state/local tax filings, such as sales tax, property tax, etc.;
      • Assist with annual 1099 reporting;
      • Responsible for addressing any/all other regulatory reporting and/or compliance matters

Additional Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, always-on environment;
  • Experience managing teams is strongly preferred;
  • Experience working with offshore staff preferred;
  • Strong technical and practical knowledge of GAAP;
  • Strong tax experience preferred;
  • Automotive Industry experience preferred;
  • Experience working with Vehicle/Dealer Management systems preferred;
  • Experience with Vertex Cloud (sales tax) preferred;
  • Experience with global ERP system preferred;
  • Experience with Ramp preferred;
  • Active CPA preferred;
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage with limited resources;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and Office 365 suite strongly preferred
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills;
