POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for maintaining all member accounts and processing all credit card, ACH and remote capture transactions. He/she is also responsible for the timely processing and payment of all vendor and independent contractor invoices as well as the Club's semi-monthly payroll. The Accounting Coordinator provides administrative support to the Controller and handles miscellaneous departmental administrative tasks.

Essential Functions:
  • Entry and maintenance of member accounts and group postings.
  • Processing of all credit card, ACH and remote capture transactions.
  • Month-end billing and closing of accounts receivable.
  • Entry and maintenance of vendor and independent contractor invoices.
  • Processing and filing of accounts payable checks.
  • Month-end closing of accounts payable.
  • Processing of semi-monthly payroll and manual payroll checks.
  • Preparation of month-end reports.
  • Maintenance of Daily Cash Control Log.
  • Maintenance of Petty Cash Bank.
  • Management of Postage Machine and Meter.
  • Distribution of all incoming mail.
  • May perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Club as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION

Education : High School Diploma

Experience : 3 years accounting experience

Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Website Administration, pos

Salary Description

$27-$29 per hour plus benefits
