Accounting Intern
ISC Constructors, LLC
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Division: Corporate Headquarters
The Position:
Under the general supervision of the Accounts Receivable Manager, this part time position is responsible for generating and sending out invoices through the Company’s ERP system, researching and resolving cost and billing discrepancies, and contributing to a team effort of ensuring accuracy and efficiency of billing.
Responsibilities:
· Bill construction and maintenance material and labor to large industrial customers
· Verify adherence to contract rates
· Validate and compile all supporting documentation
· Issue invoices to customers through mail, email, and customer invoicing portals
· Adapt to various customer billing requirements and payable systems
· Research and resolve job cost issues
· Collaborate with the company’s Finance and IT teams
· Assist with various admin functions
· Other similar duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Education: enrolled in secondary education program with accounting or business coursework
· Construction accounting coursework or experience a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products – Intermediate level required
