We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join a fast-growing construction/contracting company located in Garner, North Carolina. Construction experience is required for consideration. You will be responsible for planning and directing the accounting activities of the department, as well as ensuring the financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles and/or financial reporting standards. Responsibilities:


• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Administration activities.


• Oversee the production of financial reports.


• Prepare and/or review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.


• Maintain the general ledger system and fixed assets


• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements


• Provide analysis of monthly financial results.


• Audit accounts regularly for accuracy.


• AIA Billing and Lien Waivers


• Oversee job costing activities


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements and regulatory reporting including payroll, sales, and income taxes.


• Assist other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.


• Assist with creating annual budgets.


• Provide monthly departmental budget reporting and variance analysis

• Position: Accounting Manager/Supervisor

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Extensive knowledge of Billing Functions

• Experience with Job Cost and AIA Billing

• Familiarity with Lien Waivers

• Ability to perform Monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proven ability to prepare Financial Statements

• Experience in managing Payroll for under 100 employees

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
