Our managed hotels portfolio includes Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.
Assists with the supervision and coordination of the accounting operations in the hotel. Assists with compiling, reviewing, reconciling, preparing and analyzing entries to facilitate the accounting function. Assists with the processing of financial statements and other reports to ensure accurate, timely information.
The position assists with the functions of Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Income Journal, General Cashiering, Taxes, and Internal Controls.
During scheduled vacations is responsible for the daily operation of an area (Credit Manager, Accounts Payable).
Responsible and encouraged to make recommendations, suggest financial control changes and report SOP and procedural violations.
- Prepare, review and reconcile daily postings, accruals, various general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial information is available.
- Compile, prepare, back-up and analyze period-end data on food and beverage costs and inventories to provide information and recommendations to management on current procedures and controls. Assist with the preparation of cost potentials as required.
- May supervise the accounts receivable function and perform the hotel's credit/collection and food and beverage control function to ensure accurate, timely and quality service and support to hotel customers and management.
- Review and monitor internal control procedures in the hotel. Areas included are Food and Beverage, Cashiering, Room Operations, etc.
