KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for daily cash applications and daily check runs.
- Provide support to the collections department.
- Send remittances and respond effectively to questions from internal and external customers.
- Electronic document management.
- Perform various reconciliations (as requested).
- Credit card and invoice processing.
- Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and vendor communication.
- Ensure accurate classification of expenses in accordance with GAAP.
- Provide internal divisions with financial analyses as requested.
- Sales order processing / Invoicing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Thorough understanding of computerized accounting systems.
- Minimum two years college coursework with knowledge of basic purchasing, cash, A/R and A/P principles or equivalent experience; 4-year degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in multi-division environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with A/R, A/P, and general ledger.
- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrated training ability.
- Demonstrated history of adhering to schedules and deadlines
- Ability to work in Excel and MS Word at intermediate level or higher.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with good problem-solving ability.
- Complete assigned projects within established timelines and guidelines.
