Description:Summary:
Responsible for accurately performing repairs, conducting scheduled maintenance, and addressing drop-in and airline service requests on all aircraft, in addition to performing FAA required inspections.
Essential Functions:
- Required to examine his/her work regularly to ensure established standards are met
- Responsible for replacing defective components using hand tools and appliances to measure, test and wear and controls
- Preventative maintenance and as such examine numerous devices on aircraft such as landing gear, pressurized components, pumps, brakes, valves, flight instruments and any other components of the plane that necessitates maintenance
- Understand and interpret service bulletins, maintenance manuals to ascertain the feasibility and techniques of replacing or repairing faulty or damaged components
- Respond to AOG, Drop-in, Airline work requests
- Operates all required ground support equipment
- Maintain time tracking daily
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience with high-level, critical analytic and strategic thinking
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively • Demonstrated leadership skills

Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of all aircraft mechanical system functions and interactions
- Thorough working knowledge of all current FAA regulations and ATA codes
- Airframe and power plant license • Some on call duties as required
- Preferred: Previous experience in Part 135 and 145 Operations
- Standing/walking for short distances: up to two hours on hard surfaces
- Lifting/Carrying: occasionally, up to 20 pounds for up to 200 feet, rarely, up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet
