NATIVE AMERICAN LAW ATTORNEY

LOCATION:& San Diego, CA/Scottsdale, AZ

SALARY:& $145k-$230K&

Overview:

We are seeking a Mid-level Associate with a focus on Native American Law to join a growing legal team at a prestigious AmLaw 200 Firm. This is a great opportunity for career development with substantial client interaction and practice growth.

Responsibilities:

Handle transactional work, including:
Intergovernmental negotiations and agreements
Indian healthcare clinic contracts and operations
Leasing and land use
Gaming and hospitality
Tribal employment matters
Drafting legislation and ordinances
Engage in legal matters related to Native American communities

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in federal law impacting Native American tribes
Tangible legal experience working in Native American communities
California and/or Arizona bar admission
Excellent academic credentials
Strong analytical, writing, and time management skills
Detail-oriented and professional in client relations
Compensation:

Salary range:&

$145,000 - $230,000, depending on experience&
