Job Description
We are currently accepting applications for a Full Time Therapist to work with our Youth Vantage Point North Program in American Fork, Utah.
Vantage Point North is a short term facility for youth ages 10-17 in crisis. Our mission is to provide useful strategies for those who are experiencing social, emotional, suicidal Ideation and behavioral problems due to mental illness and emotional challenges. The program provides a safe, structured, nurturing, and engaging environment where our clients can develop the necessary strategies to feel accepted, confident, and successful at home, school, and in the community.
Wasatch Behavioral Health (WBH) provides quality, comprehensive mental health care with an array of programs and services for individuals within Utah and Wasatch counties. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with possibly a weekend day shift.
Compensation: $26.99 - $41.70 per hour / $56,000 - $86,000 annually (depending on experience)
- Associate licensure base wage range: $26.99 - $27.93 per hour / $56,000 - $58,000 annually
- Full licensure base wage range: $32.92 - $41.70 per hour / $68,000 - $86,000 annually
- Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.

Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following)
Provides direct and indirect clinical services, develops and supervises client treatment program provides training and consultation services to individuals, and organizations such as Juvenile Detention Centers. Performs intake assessments, develops support groups for assigned areas of specialization. Performs various administrative functions related to client and program records, general case monitoring and management. Maintains awareness of patient behaviors and reaction to medications. Coordinates with supervisors regarding issues and problems
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a college or university with a Master's degree in social work, psychology or a related field and:
- Fully Licensed Therapist recognition in the State of Utah as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW),Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- For Underfill: Associate Licensed Therapist recognition in the state of Utah as one of the following: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
