Credence is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support Headquarters Air Force Material Command (HQ AFMC) and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Accomplish cybersecurity activities to support the DAF Intelligence Community Cross Domain Solutions Element (DAF IC CDSE) and DoDIIS Executive Agent for CDSs (DExA) by assessing and recommending the technical implementation of security design to establish Cross Domain Solutions (CDSs) affecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and non-repudiation implemented as documented in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53 (Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations), Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI 8500.1 (Cybersecurity)), and other applicable National, IC, and DAF policies. Provide cybersecurity support to DAF IC organizations requiring a CDS by advising and assisting customers with refining requirements and selecting solutions to meet mission demand while considering cyber specific indicators; including gathering, collecting, preparing, and supporting requirements development and capturing actions associated with the DAF IC CDSE and DExA missions, and any other cybersecurity related activities/projects. Support any CDS development or modification efforts in accordance with DAF IC and NCDSMO regulations and directives. Maintain knowledge of and provide oversight for all DAF IC cross domain capabilities, including an enterprise CDS, and the DExA portfolio of CDSs. Provide cybersecurity resiliency expertise and recommendations to CDS project team leads to include, tracking, reporting, managing, resolving, mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities; providing recommendations for possible improvements and upgrades to increase cyber resiliency. Monitor DAF IC CDS acquisitions, life cycle management, and the DExA managed CDS portfolio to ensure CDSs remain updated and patched. Assist with technical work related to project management including planning, organizing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures. Review CDS project documentation and identify significant issues and variances that need addressing from a cybersecurity perspective. Provide CDS assessment and authorization (A&A) support for Site Based Security Assessments and Command Cyber Readiness Inspections at organizations the CDSE supports (as needed) as well as support formal coordination and discussions with the National Cross Domain Strategy and Management Office (NCDSMO) Support technical reviews of prioritizations and AFRL-NCDSMO security assessments.
